Micro Turbine Technology BV (MTT) (www.mtt-eu.com) is an innovative company developing and commercializing micro gas turbines and their applications. MTT was formed in 2003 and it is located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in the centre of the high-tech area of the Netherlands, home to top high-tech industries and research institutes.
MTT has a highly-educated team of employees with specialisations in all engineering disciplines relevant for micro gas turbines, energy conversion and co-generation. Competences of MTT include gas turbine simulation and design, combustion technology, design and control of electrical drives, rotor dynamics (including bearing design), mechanical design and product development.
Active on the development of micro gas turbines since 2003, MTT has built over the years an impressive network of industrial partners. Furthermore, MTT has established close cooperation with several academic institutions in Europe, notably: TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, RWTH Aachen, DLR (Stuttgart); many components and subsystems of MTT’s micro turbines are a product of this cooperation.
MTT is mainly focused on the development of a micro combined heat-and-power system (micro CHP) system EnerTwin (www.enertwin.com). This small cogeneration system is based on an innovative gas turbine concept for efficient generation of heat and electricity.
